The Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) NCK licensure exam is administered by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK). It is a mandatory examination that all KRCHN graduates must pass before they can legally practice nursing in Kenya.
The exam tests knowledge across two papers covering all core nursing subjects from your training — community health, pediatrics, midwifery, medical-surgical nursing, and more.
KRCHN candidates sit Paper 1 and Paper 2, each covering different subject areas of the nursing curriculum.
Questions are multiple-choice format. Our MCQ bank mirrors the exact style and difficulty of real NCK exam questions.
Topics include Kenya-specific clinical guidelines, KENH, KEPI schedules, and community health protocols.
Passing the NCK exam earns you a practicing license — the legal requirement to work as a nurse in Kenya.
Understand the exam structure so you can focus your revision strategically.

The KRCHN NCK licensure examination is administered by the Nursing Council of Kenya for Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse graduates. It consists of two papers — Paper 1 and Paper 2 — each covering different subject areas of the nursing curriculum. Both papers are in multiple-choice question (MCQ) format and are conducted via the NCK Digi Proctor online system.
Paper 1 covers the foundational sciences: Anatomy & Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Community Health Nursing, Health Education, and Environmental Health. Paper 2 covers clinical practice: Medical-Surgical Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Midwifery, Mental Health Nursing, First Aid, Nursing Ethics, and Health Records. ReviQuiz has dedicated MCQ banks for both papers.
If you have specific weak subjects, individual module courses (Ksh 400–500 each) are a cost-effective way to target those areas. If you want comprehensive coverage for both papers across all subjects, the NCK Premium (Ksh 3,500 / 60 days) or NCK Pro (Ksh 5,000 / 90 days) packages offer far better value and include mock exams, rationales, and WhatsApp support.
Both KRCHN Paper 1 MCQs and Paper 2 MCQs contain 500+ questions each, giving you over 1,000 KRCHN-specific practice questions. Each question comes with the correct answer and a detailed clinical rationale to help you understand the reasoning, not just memorise answers.
